I do not have an atlas right at hand but I'm guessing that it would be a miracle if I could find Thaumaturgy on the map.

Well actually the "Songhrati Republic of Thaumaturgy" is also known as the Spratly Islands.(given there supposed geographic location of 8 38 N, 111 55 E) http://www.worldhistory.com/geos/PG.HTM

Now the "simulated" country website(that is how it is listed on some websites) is located here http://www.expage.com/thaumaturgy

Also another interesting side fact is listed as

The phone number given on the website is actualy a US based phone number(being that 1 is the US country code and the area code is that of Washington State. I will go out on a limb here that I would be suspect(most likely a mill) of any such university(although it's convient that they grant High School diplomas too).

Although it was fun searching for a fake country.

Not only do they claim territory when China (People's Republic), Taiwan, Vietnam (and parts by Malaysia and the Phillipines) also have claims, but they also have claims on Antartica and the Pyreenes. They also have a nice defence policy of conscription. I don't think a war between them and anyone else (except possibly Hutt River Province) would last very long.

 

Whoo hoo! Just what we need, another Seborga.

it IS another Seborga.

Look here: www.ucas.in.ac. That used to be the "University College of Advanced Study" domain that corresponded to SRU-India, later known as the Bangalore Institute of Science Arts and Technology.

The UCAS domain's entry page now says "The http://ucas.ac.in has been taken over by the Principality National University. Please click here to continue."

Note that the URL for PNU was www.pnuniversity.info which suddenly points to "Thaumaturgy National University."

The phone numbers at the bottom of variuous pages are these: +1-206-203-3119 or +1-206-203-1119 . The first can also be found here:
