If a business school becomes AACSB accredited shortly after you have graduated from their MBA/DBA program, will your degree bring you the same(AACSB related) benefits as a degree of someone who enrolled and graduated after the point of AACSB accreditation?

Technically, if you finish an MBA/DBA degree program and it receives its AACSB accreditation after you graduate, you in fact do not have an AACSB. However, where the rubber hits the roads, when the Dean of the Business school interviews you for your first professorship, likely he/she will look up in a current business school guide and find out whether your MBA/DBA is AACSB now.
