Does any know of any undergrad DL courses or graduate level DL courses/degrees that involves planning and/or community development?

My preference is with US schools.

BTW I believe Iowa State also has an undergraduate DL program.

I also forgot that Penn State has a graduate Certificate in Community and Economic Development. LINK

Thank you for the information on these programs.

Am I mistaken or is Iowa State University's Grad tuition 8.2k for 9 credits for out of state .

Good grief! Is there a break for DL students? I like the look of the program but it's 49 credits so that would cost more money than I could possible come up with or justify. It would be an estimated 44K for a masters degree from a state school .

Northern Arizona seems to be $990 per undergrad course which is also fairly steep for undergrad credits and I already have a BA :(.

Iowa State is about $1100/course. Here is the information for their Fall 2005 course offerings: LINK

I'd like to make something a bit more explicit. There's planning and then there's planning. What I mean by this is that there's Urban Planning, Rural Planning, Agricultural Planning, Development Studies, Sustainable Development, etc. If Rural Development comes close to your interest then I'd want you to know that the University of Alaska has both a Bachelors program as well as a Masters program through DL. There are two other things that I'd encourage you to do. The first is to look at the University of London (External) website. They have no less than five Masters degree programs related in some way to "Planning." Second, I ask you to browse through some Masters programs in Public Administration. I believe you'll see that there's an element of plannng in that discipline as well. I believe you'll find programs at:
    Central Michigan U
    Florida Inst. of Tech
    Golden Gate U
    Valdosta State U
    Good luck.
