    Hi,
a friend asked me whether I could point him to a University that offers DL degrees with a major in photography.
Quite frankly, I had no clue, and therefore ask you people if you could give any advise.

I'm assuming that your friend is interested in a Bachelors degree. I believe that, in general, photography would fall under the category of Art. If this seems to be the case then your friend might want to look at the offerings at Atlantic Union College, Caldwell College and Mary Baldwin College. I believe that these schools offer art degrees at least partially through DL. I'm uncertain as to the extent to which photography can play a part. There may be schools that are more vocationally oriented and so your friend might want to look at the listing of schools found on the DETC website. Good luck to all.

Bears' Guide, 15th edn., says that Thomas Edison State College (www.tesc.edu) offers a associates & bachelor's degrees in photography. If the friend is looking for master's & doctoral programs in photography, try University of Melbourne (www.unimelb.edu.au).
