Should anyone be looking for such a degree, this can be completed by doing 6 courses (18 units) via DL through Tulane and 6 elective courses either through Tulane (as independent study) or through another school and then transferred to Tulane.

The nice thing is that they are willing to accept what amounts to 18 units (50% of the program) of *graduate* transfer credit. That certainly does not happen very often.

    Tom,

Where did you see/hear that they allowed 18 units for transfer? Is this a new policy of theirs? Their website says that they take up to 12 units from the Masters program and up to 24 units for their PhD program.

BTW, the PhD program is comprised of 48 units so that program has is a 50% transfer possibility. With the exception of one of the core courses, you could almost take the entire PhD program online through Tulane and transfer.

I got that straight from the program itself via e-mail. I couldn't tell from the website, so I wrote them. That was their response.
