Since the VAE is an evaluation process and no new course work is offered why would a degree awarded through a French State university be considered equal to a RA degree, but one awarded through a "private " one as Adam Smith be not. Is it because of who is doing the "evaluating? One has name brand recognition and the other does not? OR is it because the true French VAE process requires an interview and watches a person at his job to make sure he is competent and the Sorbon/Adam Smith process does not?

Are they allowed not to interview/watch a candidate on the job?
