    I am looking for a distance (or limited residency)
    MS program in math or applied math
    from a US regionally accredited university.

    It seems that the degrees available are either for teachers or are in
    statistics instead of math.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Gabriel,

    Not much action since you first posted this in AED a week ago. Can you be more flexible in your requirements?

    I am almost certain that there's no distance or limited rez US/RA MS program in pure or applied math. Teacher-ed progs don't count, of course.

    I spent considerable time looking for such a program a few months ago and turned up nothing that meets all of your specifications. As far as I know, nothing new is available. I decided to apply to a master's program not in math but in another quantitative field.

    You might consider either (a) looking at overseas options or (b) seeing whether you could take enough courses of interest in one of the programs emphasizing math ed or statistics or computer science.

    How has your search gone?

    Colorado State University is offerring the MS in statistice via DL;
    Rochester Institut of Technology, MS in applied stats, I believe;
    and then there was a program in data mining, last year mentioned on the board, offered by a Connecticut state university, DL style...
