    Hi All,

It looks like Almeda (University now I guess) is offering what they call "traditional" courses (rather than just buying the degree).

If you like the For Dummies books, you'll love the For Dummies courses!

It's what you want. Isn't that what matters most? You want to use the tools that best meet your needs. How can e-Learning do this?

    It's available Anytime, Anywhere!
Come on! You don't want to waste time driving to class and attending a boring lecture! You want to learn about a variety of topics and applications from the comfort of your own PC, wearing pink bunny slippers and a ratty old sweatshirt. You want to spend your time learning what is important to you and skipping the non-essentials. You want learning tools that keep you engaged in what you are studying. Our For Dummies e-Learning does just that.

    It's Easy-to-Use Reference Material
Lots of times when you're taking training, you may ask yourself, "What in the heck does that concept mean again?!" With our e-Learning courses, you can browse through a course again or search for a particular topic or concept to get a brief overview. You can easily get in and out of a course, find the information you need, and then move on!

    It's Inexpensive
Who doesn't want a good deal? Today, individuals and companies alike are less likely to fork over the big bucks for instructor-led training. But there's another way. E-Learning provides interactive, high quality training at a tremendous value.

I still don't understand how people keep going to them...if you look at their e-public eye link here:

    http://pe.epubliceye.com/pereport.cfm?key=35534

There seems to be several satisfied customers, probably because they have yet to find out their "degrees" have little or no utility.

If you check out the consumer reviews section here:

    http://pe.epubliceye.com/fl/flreportcomments.cfm

you will see what I mean....sad, and the number rises by 5-15 more people (in most cases) each day

and they post comments like this:
    Submitted:: 2005-04-01 12:58:35

this is a good way to shop, thank you. --Consumer's ID on file.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE I MADE. IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS NEEDING TO FURTHER MY EDUCATION. I HOPE OTHERS FIND THIS SITE AND ABLE TO BENEFIT FROM IT AS WELL AS I HAVE. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP. --Consumer's ID on file.

And this one is the best of them all:

I did'nt like the presentation of the site which almost made me look elsewhere. Why? It seemed they presented like a diploma mill and not a solid enterprise University type school for on-line study and/or degree value. With a few little changes to presentation of core degree programs with more time placed towards building up of needed schooling and true work history with less placed on the fees until potential student meets standards. At this point a price fee schedule should be presented behind closed login for the student then to make final choice of finalizing the degee process. --

Yet he/she still "purchased" his education.

Re: they must be changing their ways...

It's really kind of sad when someone who has done so much with his life goes out and embarrasses himself in such a big way.

ACK and the graduate (commencement) pictures look like they were ripped off UOP's Alumni website, great...
