Dear Board Members, I have never heard this school mentioned before. I did a search and nothing came up. Now if this school has been mentioned, a thousand pardons. The school is the College of Humanities and Sciences out of Tempe, Arizona and Chicago, Illinois. They are DETC accredited. Just curious what you all think.
As of Bears' Guide 15th edn. (2003), it was living in the "Other Schools" section on page 197. They are a Great Books school. More info after I visit their website.
I looked at this once upon a time simply because I have a fondness for Great Books style education. Overall I liked the looks of the program but not the price tag, especially when you can get essentially the same degree (though not the same style education) through CSU-Dominguez Hills. Jack
Has been discussed here before. E.g. http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?threadid=7219 Looks good, but expensive.
Indeed. Saw them some time ago while surfing the Net down at the Oak Harbor library. Was impressed. Accredited by DETC. Sorry if my previous post implied they were not. Lots of things can change re a school's accreditation status in two years. Cost: $275/hr. x 36 hrs. = $9,900, payable in 36 installments of $275/month.
