I have posted and seen it posted many times before, questions about certain degrees, especially the ones that i am about to ask but here we go anyway.

A chinese friend of mine is about to go on her internship in the USA, in St. louis Missouri.

She wants to do a second degree, at either the masters or the bachelors level. Preferably in accounting but any other financial subject would be considered. she wants to use this degree to get a better job after her internship in China.

    This is her situation:

She is attending a four year degree program at the bachelors level, in international hospitality management. The internship is her last year, so she does not need/ want to return afterwards. The program is worth 162 crdeits, with each credit worth 40 hours of studies. the internship is worth 42 credits, equivalent to one year of studies.

the site of the schoolLeeuwarden Click on bachelors prog, bba hosp. management progs., 4 year program to get an idea of the program.

She will graduate after she finishes her internship, so she has only about 120 credit up to this point.

I have recommended the following programs to her, without taking finance into consideration ( her parents are paying the bill)

    1acca in the uk

    2
    CIMA

3 AIU online because it will get her the degree within the time period that she resides in the us

4 purely for the cost detc accredited degrees like aspen and ashworth.

Any other possibilties you can recommend or better suggest, since my info comes mainly from this site. Please note thatt I know about th difference in DETC and RA accreditation, but n this case it does not make much of a difference.

If she doesn't mind Australian universities. Quite a number of them have 100% DL graduate conversion degrees for graduates of disciplines other than Accounting.

University of Southern Queensland- Master of Professional Accounting

Deakin University- Master of Commerce (Accounting)

Central Queensland University- Master of Accounting
