I'm graduating from TAMU-C next month and have almost recruited my husband to pursue the MBA program. I was on the site looking around today to give him some informaiton and noticed that they now offer two more online Master's programs. To my knowledge, these programs are new.

Master of Science in Management - The Online Master of Science in Management is a specialized program of study ideally suited for individuals seeking an educational experience with course work concentrated in leadership dynamics and/or human resources management. Either the general option or an Information Technology option is also available for this program.

Master of Science in Industrial Technology - The goal of the Online Master of Science in Industrial Technology (MSIT) program is to develop individuals in advancing engineering, technology and managerial areas. The curriculum is centered around real-world topics found in contemporary and future business as well as industrial environments. Learned competencies are designed to meet the current and future needs of practicing professionals as well as individuals with limited industrial and/or business experience. The Industrial Technology program is a 30 semester hour (10 courses),non-thesis program. http://www7.tamu-commerce.edu/iet/masters.html

They also are offering a fast-track "501" program for non-business students who need to take introductory courses before entering an MBA program.

The link to the page about the online programs is: http://www7.tamu-commerce.edu/graduateprograms/Programs/online.asp

The great thing about TAMU-C is the fact that the business programs are AACSB-accredited and they will waive the GMAT for undergrad GPAs above 2.75.

    Hi Carla,

Graduating from TAMU-C in December myself (MBA). Applied for and accepted to the MSM program. I have visited the campus twice, and have heard nothing but positive feedback from my colleagues about choosing TAMU-C as my graduate school of choice.

I sent this information to some of my faculty friends who are totally bogged down by the traditionalism of brick and mortar school system.
Times are indeed changing. May be one day most of the traditional brick and mortar schools will offer 100% online PhD degrees and the whole perception of DL degree will totally change.
