Both Columbia University and the University of Florida offer terminal degrees in Computer Science beyond the masters degree that isn't a PhD. In the case of CU this degree is called "Professional Degree in Computer Science" and the UF degree is called "Degree of Engineer in Computer Science". Both of these degrees are like getting a second masters degree in Computer Science.

I'm seriously considering completing one of these programs instead of a PhD after I complete my masters. However, I would like to search for similar programs and I'm not sure about how to go about this since these degrees seem so "unique." Does anyone have any suggestion on how I might structure my search so that it would be more efficient than just examining Universities one-by-one?

    Thanks.

Doesn't ABET have a list of accredited program along with they type of degrees offered? Including the "unique" ones?
