Let me say that I am VERY happy to see your office taking action against some of these scams. Regarding Stanton, a Google search turned up a hint of a court case involving them in Madras, India, back in 1987. Apparently something calling itself the Management Professionals Association informed an Indian gentleman that he was already qualified for a Ph.D. from New York University. The man paid MPA a large sum of money. After not hearing anything for some time he contacted MPA, and was told that his Ph.D. from Stanton University was almost ready. The gnetleman protested that he had paid for a doctorate from NYU, not Stanton. He was told that NYU and Stanton were one and the same university, with NYU degrees granted to Americans and Stanton degrees granted to foreigners. He made a complaint and the Management Professionals Association was prosecuted in Tamil Nadu court. I'm not sure what use this will be to you, since I expect that Stanton will deny any association with Management Professionals Association. But the Indians may have developed more information on Stanton so you might want to contact their Director General of Investigations who apparently prosecuted this. The Indian link no longer works, but the cached page is still at Google. It probably has enough information for you to track down the case if necessary. http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:1BHj2nEnh1U:www.companylawinfo.com/decisions/63/63comp673.html++%22stanton+university%22&hl=en
