Thank You, Degree Info!

Today, at 10:54 AM, the United States Postal Service delivered a special package to me, my Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies degree from Excelsior College. And, I owe a big "thanks" to a lot of people.

In the true spirit of the corney Oscar speech, I'd like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ (or to whomever YOU pray), my wife who put up with my studying when I should have been mowing the lawn or helping her with the kids, and last but not least, DegreeInfo.com.

You folks here on this board have been inspirational, supportive, and extremely informative. Without you all, I would not have known about earning credit through FEMA, which exams to take, and how to deal with difficult college/university pencil shuffling desk jockeys (administrators, secretaries, and stuff). Basically, I would not be here admiring one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

Thanks, again to everyone. I will hang around and hopefully help others achieve thier dream of a college degree.

Congratulations Icgreen! The goal of a college degree seems so far away when you first start it's hard to believe it when you actually reach your goal. I know how good it felt to finally finish my B.A. as well.

Now relax and take momma and lil' Johnny out for a nice dinner this weekend to celebrate!
