First of all, thanks to Mr Huffman.

Does someone know something about Western-Kennedy University?.

They say they are really a university under Wyoming law.
They assure me that Kennedy-Western University is not a degree mill. They say last year the federal government did a major investigation about any unaccredited school being a possible degree mill. They say that the university welcomed the challenge and at the end of the hearing they were recognized as a legitimate university not a degree mill.

I know they are not an accredited University and it does not care for me, because no matter they were an accredited one, it is not easy to be recognized the diploma in my country.

But I dont want a diploma mill. And distance learning accredite universities are not affordable to me.

Does some know where can I get more info?

    It's simple

The information you are looking for is as simple as doing a search on the degreeinfo.com website under Kennedy - Western University. Be prepared, the information you are looking isn't pretty...

    You mean "Kennedy-Western University."

Every last bit of what you say that they say is a damned lie. Don't believe a word of it. KWU is a diploma mill just as sure as you're breathing air right now. Make no mistake about it.

And just as sure as I'm breathing air right now, just as soon as I post this and a few KWU supporters read it, they'll jump in here and call me names and tell you that I'm nuts and try to convince you not to listen to me. People who get ripped-off often have a difficult time coming to grips with it and try to assuage their upset by convincing others (while convincing themselves) that it's not as bad as everyone is saying. Don't believe them. They're just trying to suck you down into their morass. Mysery loves company.

    KENNEDY-WESTERN = STAY AWAY!!!

    Period.

You need to decide if you're willing to pay for what a real degree really costs. If you're thinking you can get one for the kind of money that diploma mills typically charge -- and that that's all you're willing to spend -- then just resign yourself right now to the fact that you're not going to be getting a real degree any time soon. I'd like to buy a four-bedroom house in a nice neighborhood for $10,000, too... but if that's all I'm willing to spend, then I won't ever be getting a house. Facts are facts, and wishing won't change facts.

There are incredibly inexpensive (by comparison) degrees floating around out there. Go to the DETC web site and look at the list of institutions there, and the degrees they offer. These are nationally-accredited schools and the cost of their degrees tend to be (but are not always) a bit less expensive than regionally-accredited schools. However, there are several regionally-accredited schools that can compete with those nationally-accredited ones, too.

But no matter how you look at it, you're talking about a fair bit of money. If you can't afford it -- or can't borrow it or something -- then you're just out of luck. But, whatever you do, don't get sucked-in by the diploma/degree mills (like KWU, for example) and their games! Either do it right, or don't do it at all.

There are many threads in this forums discussing Kennedy-Western. Use the search feature. Find them. Read them. Understand the salient issues. Don't be fooled by seemingly intelligent people who think KWU is okay. It is not. It is a bona fide diploma mill or degree mill or whatever you want to call it. A KWU credential isn't worth the paper on which it's printed, or the (gun) powder it would take to blow it up. Mark my word.

It is not a good idea to ask a "school" whether or not they are a degree mill. What do you expect them so say..."yes, we are"?

There is a list the state of Oregon maintains to separate the mills from the rest of the class.

Someone must have stolen DesElms's password. There's no way the real DesElms could have written any sentences so concise. :p

    KWU

Thanks to all of you by your comments. They are very usefull.

I am not trying to buy a diploma for $1K or $2K. But for me, it is to expensive to pay $45K at Capella or $25 at Nova.
    I can pay $12K.
I think that, if University of London offers an MSc in Information Security for $12K, with the info I received , I can find something affordable to me.

    Thanks again.

If K-W is saying this, then it is being less than honest. It is my understanding (from reading the transcript) that quite the opposite was the result.
