    Hi all,
Sorry...i know this qns have been asked many times by all, but think mine is alittle bit different, due to my location.

Can anyone tell me which university (other than Ashworth) offers cheap Fully DL MBA which below 10K, including textbook? if possible, include monthly interest free installment plan?

RA, if possible, but NA is fine with me.

I stay in Singapore, so it must be a 100% DL program.
    Thanks.

Maybe Cameron University in Oklahoma or one of the UK schools, not sure; you're asking a lot as far as price goes.

I think Amberton falls into that category.

Here's a link to a legit site for online/DL MBAs with prices.

    http://www.geteducated.com/articles/TopMBAAACSB.htm

I'm not certain about the accuracy of all the info (for example, I'm pretty sure that Ball State's MBA is only offered via distance for those within the borders of Indiana, that Western Illinois dropped their program, and that West Virginia, Clemson, Lehigh, South Carolina, Old Dominion and Wyoming do not offer DL MBAs for out-of-staters), but it's a fairly informative site nonetheless, and beats the daylights out of all those garbage sites that you must sift through that are sponsored by the for-profits and the mills. "Get an accredited online MBA from a top-ranked school: Kennedy-Western!" As Alfred E. Newman would say: Blechh!

First off, I apologize if I sound blunt. The guy mentions that he's in Singapour... how can he apply to Amberton when the school does not even consider Non-US residants/citizens for admission??? Amberton and WGU are NOT meant for people living outside the USA...

kozen, if I were you, I'd be looking for a few of the online schools regularly mentioned on this forum. A quick search will elaborately reveal that. Looking at your budget, I can mention a few:

    *Aspen University
    *California State University (Dominguez Hills)
    *Columbia Southern University
    *Park University (I think)

Aspen and Columbia Southern are Nationally Accredited... Park University is Regionally Accredited I think and California State University is ACBSP as well as AACSB.

    **Also**

Why don't you try for some of the South African schools? They are quite cheaper compared to the USA... I am sure that a masters degree can be completed from SA entirely via distance learning.

I have seen Cameron University of Oklahoma mentioned on this board a few times. I live in Oklahoma, and I have checked out the school's website. I think the DL option is only for those who live in Oklahoma, so I don't think that will help you.

If NA is fine with you, why not go with Ashworth? I believe it's about $5,000, including textbooks. It fits the other requirements you set for yourself as well. Some foreign schools might fit your needs. Perhaps Heriot-Watt?

I would also ask -- and not because I'm being defensive or anything, for I have nothing whatsoever to do with the institution nor do I have or am seeking (or contemplate doing so) a degree therefrom (though I've recommended it a time or two) -- why not Ashworth, kozen? Just curious why you eliminated it. Or were you not eliminating it, but just wanted more suggestions?

Not related, but... Here is something I would ask too. Ashworth College, PCDI and James Madison Highschool are one and the same... PCDI is for career diploma courses, and James Madison HS is for highschool diploma. It is only appropriate that Ashworth also introduce the name "University" into the mix since they are now offering graduate degrees. They could keep their brand name "Ashworth College" for their associate degree programs, and for Masters degree they could have "Ashworth University" or something. I just don't feel comfortable getting a graduate degree from a "College" :D maybe it's just me. I actually seem to like what they have to offer, especially from the price they offer it for. I only wish they also throw in the "University" element into their product line.

    Hi Kozen:

Out of the above list, I would also add California Coast University. The tuition is $185.00 per unit and they offer interest free payment plans. This school is NA. Here is the website if you are interested: www.calcoast.edu

The only drawback is the offer only correspondence classes, no on-line as of yet.

    Good luck in your pusuits!

    Hi,

First, as i know that Ashworth is one of the best choice that fits my requirement, but i don't really like their curriculum for their MBA program, so i am looking for more alternatives other than Ashworth, unless i have no choice. Btw, i know that some South Africa Universities do offer cheap DL programs, but i have a passion for US degrees, that's why a US MBA will be my first choice.

Secondly, if i'm able to pursue a RA within my barget..why not? even though NA is fine with me, so will really appreciate if you have more sugguestions for me.
    Thanks

Yeah..same for me too. If they will be willing to change from college to university. I believe that they will attract even more students.

I have also been looking for a relatively inexpensive masters degree in business (there certainly aren't any cheap reputable programs out there!). Here are some options:

    1. Queen Margaret University College MBA
    - accredited by Royal Charter, about $8,460 USD all inclusive

    http://www.qmuc.ac.uk/distance/mba.htm

    2. Minot State University Master of Science in Management (MSM)
    - regionally accredited, 30 credit hours x $227/hr = $6,810 USD (textbooks extra)

    http://www.minotstateu.edu/msm/

    3. Fort Hayes State University - Master of Liberal Studies (MLS)
    - regionally accredited with a variety of business-related majors (human resource management, organizational leadership), 33 credit hours x $164/hr = $5,412 USD (textbooks extra)

    http://www.fhsu.edu/mls/

    4. Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) MBA
    - accredited by South African government, about $5,000 USD

    http://www.mancosa.co.za

    Good luck!

BTW: Fort Hays State in Kansas is actually putting together a DL MBA, will likely be quite cheap as their other programs are. I talked to dept head a couple months back, said that they are definitely shooting for full AACSB, full online. Probably no rollout til 2006, perhaps later.

Although not a fit if a US degree is a must I believe that University of Southern Queensland would fit the bill for you price wise:
