    Hello Everyone,

Well, I'm proud to say I completed my MBA/Public Administration degree at Columbia Southern University. And yes, CSU is a nationally accredited university recognized by the U.S. Dept of Education and CHEA. It seems like many individuals on this forum are anti-national accreditation.

I plan on attending one of several regionally accredited universities to pursue my Ph.D in business administration.

I enrolled and was accepted into the University of North Alabama's online MBA program, but decided to go with CSU due to it being more flexible and affordable.

It took me just under two years to complete the program. My opinion is an online school is what it is, whether regionally or nationally accredited. There will always be those trying to say their regionally accredited degree is more vaulable, but I disagree.

I'll soon attend an online regionally accredited university to complete my Ph.D studies and someday teach at a online or local college, when I retire from law enforcement.

    Great work!

I am a few weeks away from my MBA completion, and am happy to see that you're on your way for a doctorate from an RA institution following your CSU MBA.

Do let me know which school you're going for... I may need some help too :) I am sending you a PM as well...

    Once again, excellent achievement!

    Regards,
    Mahmood

Actually, several regionally accredited universities have accepted CSU's MBA program including Capella University and North Central University.

I'm leaning towards Northcentral University due to them offering a Ph.D. in business administration with a concentration in homeland security. http://www.ncu.edu.

    Hi Jag

Congrats on finishing your program. If by valuable you mean having wider acceptance and greater utility, I would agree there are many people here who would say that. Just as a degree from Columbia or Northwestern will be more valuable than one from a State school, a degree from an RA school will also have greater acceptance in many circumstances than a NA school. If that is bothersome to you it might be worthwhile examining why it is? Again congrats and take care.

    jagmct1,

First, congratulations on finishing your program it must be a great feeling.

Second, from reading the last two threads you've started it seems you are not sold on the utility of your degree from a NA school? For some reason you seem to want to have the opportunity to defend your choice even before anyone else brings it up.

As long as your degree allows you to achieve the things you desire to achieve what does it matter what others think?

Enjoy your educational accomplishments and quit worrying what others think.

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to???

    Congratulations. Sheesh.

Now quit whining about who's anti-what, especially when you're wrong. Some people have pointed out that in some circumstances an NA degree may have less utility than an RA degree. That's not being anti-NA. That's just a fact.
I dance like an ox. That's not being anti-dancing. That's just a fact.

I don't believe that anybody here is anti-NA. Your petulance in the face of your own achievement doesn't detract from that achievement, but it's unbecoming.
Like me on the dance floor.

    Again, congratulations. Really. Truly.

Yes sir!! And I will be there at the grad ceremony... just in case, I'd like to make it a bit candid. I am at Aspen University :D and it will be great to see people with whom I have attended asynchronous online classes. Once again, thanks Abner :) but I'll be posting my very own MBA completion thread in a few weeks ;)
