Its creation on April 24, 1990 was the culmination of organizing work by volunteers from among the 130 attendees (23 organizations represented) who participated in the April 1988 National Conference on Engineering Specialty Certification. They seem to be legitimate body but not listed with CHEA Here are all the Councils who are CHEA recognized. So wile they are claiming recognized accrediting body - their recognition is not by CHEA but maybe by other members of CHEA. Like if ABET recognizes them then they are agent of ABET sordoff. See the other forum where you posted CESB is a 100% legitimate accrediting organization, and they accredit many respected credentials. However, they *don't* accredit academic degrees -- they accredit certifications awarded by professional scientific and engineering societies.
