Did anyone already take the Information Literacy Course at Excelsior?

Is it difficult? Does it include a proctored exam?

    Yes. No. No.

My wife took this course. Fully online, can be completed in a day or so.

Thank you for your reply Stanislav,

The FAQ on the Information Literacy Exam that I've found on the Excelsior website says that the study time for the exam is 16 weeks and there is much reading required in order to pass the exam.
Did your wife do all the reading or can this be ignored?
Incidentally, do you receive a grade for this exam or is it just pass/fail?

    Thank you,

    Dennis

I cant speak for Stanislav. However, I took the course about a month ago and it is kinda heavy on the reading. But it is basic stuff like plagiarism, web searches, etc... The quizzes are pretty easy and it didn't take more than about 6 hours from start to finish.

It is a pass or fail grade. I wouldn't fear the course.

    Hope this helps!
