    Edith Cowan University offers a Ph.D. in writing that consists of a dissertation and a related creative project; the program takes three years to complete, can be done entirely off-campus, and would cost something in the neighborhood of US$8,000 total. For more information, click here.

  2. Thanks so much for posting this, Tom. As usual, you are blazing the way for my academic career: I've posted your cited page in my "post HUX" folder for follow-up when I've completed my MA at California State U, Dominguez Hills.

    Currently taking a summer hiatus to get a running start on my reading for an independent study I designed on Henry James and the Novel. Got approved for the Fall trimester. Mentor is Abe Ravitz; I'm told he's excellent.

    Sure glad all these interesting distance ed opportunities are showing up.
