I'm teaching a "Special Topics in Public Administration" course to MPA students this summer at one of the Cal State campuses. The topic I've been asked to cover is one with which I'm very familiar but have difficulty locating appropriate texts. Subject: Grant Research, Writing and Administration in the Public Sector I've done a number of web searches, but most of the texts I've found are somewhat dated. I'm interested in texts that cover research methods for the stated purpose, steps in preparing a proposal, federal and/or state (CA) guidelines for grant applications etc. Anyone has any ideas?
