I was wondering if anyone is currently taking on-line classes from NYIT or Ellis NYIT

If so how would you rate the program?

How does these schools stand-up in the professional world?

Please share all negative or positive feedback in regards to the quality of the education and accreditation.

    Thanks

I will most likely enter this program once I finish up my BSBA via TESC. I looked at the Ellis course demo, which is pretty nice, and thorough. The semesters are 6 weeks long, which I really dig.

The accreditation is real, NYIT is a real school, and I don't think anyone will shun you for it. The degree conferred says "New York Institute of Technology", which is good.

    Cheers.

The New York Institute of Technology is a highly-regarded university and has been in the distance learning arena for many years. It is accredited by the same body that accredits NYU, Syracuse and the other universities in the state. It would be a good solid choice.

    Greetings,

I just started my second course at Ellis NYIT. So far, the course material is pretty good. It's challenging to me because I do not have much business course background. However, the online presentation along with animations, video clips, good examples and case scenarios, and the real-world projects are very good quality. Of course I have nothing to compare to because this is the only online school I've attened.

The only downside of Ellis is administration services. They are still struggling to get their acts together. I've had some difficulty during my application process and other admiistrative requests. If it weren't for their very innovative and interactive classrooms, I'd have certainly chose another school.

From what I've read here, the tuition is high only being regionally accredited. But that is not the most important to me as long as I get the knowledge and experience. Much of the things learned in class can be directly applied in your current job.

    Good luck!
