Distance Degrees in Anthropology

Came across an interesting degree program - MA in Death Study.

The Department of Anthropology at University of Wales, Lampeter, offers 100% Distance Learning degrees at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. There are 3 MAs in:

· Death Study
· Environmental Anthropology
· Social Anthropology

What an excellent option, Willy. Thanks. I missed this thread the first time around, so my two cents:

Folks who are interested in doing an interdisciplinary program in death study and pareschatology might be interested in the Lampeter MA in death and immortality, designed (I think) with the assistance of Lampeter's own Visiting Lecturer John Hick (Death and Eternal Life). It incorporates some of the death study models with interfaith coursework on religious ideas of the Great Beyond, the soul, etc. etc. etc. (the Self in Indian Thought, Resurrection and Judgment in Christian Theology, and so forth).
