    Hi Everyone,
I have worked in a Catholic school for the last 19 years. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Education (Leadership) at Walden U. My plan is to become principal with my present employer. Some people urged me to pursue my masters and have put much faith on me. I know that by the time my principal retires, in three years or so, I will have my masters and I should be able to get the job.

My only concern is that, even though I am a practicing Catholic, I may not have the religious background necessary .... that may be an issue with a people who may want someone with stronger religious background.

Although I can not pursue another degree right now, I think obtaining some kind of certificate(s) would "cement" my job. Any suggestions on where I can pursue some kind of certificate of a Catholic nature? or any other ideas?

    Thanks

Sorry the above link doesn't seem to work. The DL MA in Theology (as well as the DL MA in Philosophy) at International Catholic University is offered jointly with Holy Apostles College and Seminary, so try www.holyapostles.edu.

You might also want to try from amongst the following array: Australian Catholic University (http://www.acuweb.com.au); Franciscan University of Steubenville (http://www2.franuniv.edu/disted); Saint Joseph's College (http://www.sjcme.edu/cps); and Saint Mary of the Woods College (http://www.smwc.edu).

Thank you all for your input. I am sure I will find something with one of those schools.

    Thanks!
