Those 5 GBP question sets are not past exams. They are only practice multiple choice questions which may more may not have been on a past exam. They don't include essay questions, or case studies. They don't even provide answers to the questions! Kinda defeats the purpose, but I think they are trying to dissuade students from memorizing questions instead of learning the material. There might be some on the student notes website at http://groups.msn.com/Watercooler/indexhtml.msnw. Even if there aren't any, the notes will give you a good idea about what is going to be on them. Other than that, you have to be a student and download them from the EBS website.
Edo The EBS MBA are the actual past exams for about seven diets from the most recent and are printed and bound together per subject set and cost GBP5 per set. It is just not practical to print solutions and answer examples for over 30 subject exams per Diet. Solutions and example answers take up 20-30 pages per subject per Diet x 30 subjects. That would be a small book's worth of printing per exam diet (four diets per year x five years, say, is a large printing project and cost a lot more than GBP5 plus postage and packing). I do not recognise the items you refer to. Our students in addition have access online to six past exams, complete with the faculty solution and with 'good' student answers (actual answers transcribed from that Diet's exam book answers, usually selected for marks of around 65/100, and very lightly edited if at all (spelling, though not always, and grammar, though not always). The student answer examples have a benefit in that students can compare their attempted answers with what is a clear pass answer and also with a faculty answer, usually unattainable in the short time available to exam candidates. The online exam plus solutions product is feasible, popular and easy to use. The exams are downloadable to students' orders and come with the rest of the online package. On the contrary to your supposition, we encourage students to practice attempting our exam level questions. 'Memorising' the Text will not help you to pass our exams: you must demonstrate your ability to apply concepts from the entire course subject to business problems. The only way to do this is to know the material concepts cold and to practice their application, synthesis and evaluation.
