University of Nebraska - Lincoln

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if anyone here had any information on the Ph.D. or Ed.D. programs at University of Nebraska Lincoln. I'm one of the students that is, well, displaced by the NCU financial aid debacle and am looking for alternate routes. I'm looking into UNL's program and was looking for advice.

I don’t have any first hand experience with University of Nebraska, but I’ve heard good things about it. If you believe an institution’s graduates can be considered an indicator of its quality (as I do)…three of the most brilliant and dedicated educators I’ve met are University of Nebraska grads (two from Lincoln, one from Kearney), which is why I hold both institutions in such high esteem.

The last I heard, they were wait-listing applicants, but from this site you should be able to contact them directly.

Thanks everybody. I'll check out the link to UN's program. I'm going to start fielding my options out and look at various programs as soon as I can get this NCU class finished and get out.

Another question for you--anyone have much experience with Touro University International? I've glanced over their program (both in business and education). After this mess with NCU, I'm really leary about trying another online institution. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
