guys, i need some advice here. what is a good guide to see if i'm doing ok in college math to do a clep exam i only have one week left thanks so much
Check out www.purplemath.com. Make sure you take the sample test in the CLEP Official Study Guide by College Board. Any decent-sized bookstore should have it or you can order it via Amazon.com. Cracking the CLEP should also have College Math covered, along with a sample exam. If, after taking the exam you're not scoring at least 50% correct, then you may want to pick up a book to do further review. I see that COMEX offers book (Review for the CLEP General Mathematics); I've never used this one but have used 3 other Comex books that I highly recommend. Cheers, Mark
Also, although I don't think it would be particularly useful for learning the math, InstantCert has lots of practice problems if you just need to make sure you have the procedures straight in your head. -Nancy
Re: Re: what is a good guide for clep math? I used to Comex guide for the general math and it is perfect
