Who offers the least expensive online MEd? I did see the University of South Australia offers a 4 course MEd but I prefer a US school.
Hi Here is a school that offers an online masters degree in education Northwestern state univeristy http://www.nsula.edu/ece/ensu.asp
Randell, sorry I can't be of any help to you, but do you happen to have a direct link to the UniSA MEd? I had trouble finding it on my own. Thanks!
Here is the link - http://www.gua.com/sis/public/csd.asp?current=program&shell=y&portalref=&spec=Y&r=5&cs=p&pcd=MMEU-D&ven=guasa&f= I found it here - http://bain4weeks.com/mastermenu.html
Well, Randell1234 and whomever else it may concern, If you are willing to be a foreign language missionary teaching ESL classes through English Language Institute China (http://www.elic.org), you can get tuition-free master's degrees: an MA in TESOL (36 credits) from Azusa Pacific University or an MAT (42 credits) or MEd (34 credits) from Lee University.
On the other hand, if you are not into doing the foreign language missionary thing to get a tuition-free master's degree, it appears that, after visiting 129 websites of distance MEd programs, the winner so far seems to be the University of North Dakota (http://www.conted.und.edu) which apparently costs $3360-$3780, depending on the number of credits required for your major. NB: There are 182 schools on my list, so with 53 more schools on my list, there might be someone else less expensive.
What do you want it for?If you need to get licensed/certified then the cheapest degree still won't get you anywhere. If you want to get licensed you have to make sure it leads to that. I can tell you one thing...the answer is NOT University of Phoenix. They do lead to certification and a few years ago they were one of the few who did. Of course the options are better now (now that I already spent my money on them!)
