Reading Education/Literacy degrees?

    I finished my Masters in Elementary Ed and I'm looking to find a post graduate program in Reading Education/Reading and Literacy. The titles of the degree vary between Reading Ed or Literacy etc. but that is the subject matter I'm looking for. I know there are some schools that offer an additional endorsement in that but I was hoping to find an actual PhD or EdD program. Any ideas? There are PhD programs out there in ed but not specifically in that subject matter

    Northcentral now offers a Ph.D. in Education and an Ed.D.

    If NCU courses do not meet your needs then you could always research Reading Education/Reading& Literacy for your disertation.

    You might want to take a look at the University of Texas program* at:

    When last I checked, it looked quite good and I considered it once upon a time.

    Indiana University used to have an online MA in Reading or Literacy education, I'm not surei f it still exists in the college of extended learning/contiuig studies at IUB.
