Like your positive attitude! Do not ever give up on mathematics, statistics and probabilities. Much free help is available online (and off).

    1. See this basic intro to statistical probabilities here:

    http://www.mathgoodies.com/lessons/vol6/intro_probability.html

........ which hopefully will whet your appetite for college-level probability stuff (*.PDF document) here:

    2. INTRODUCTION TO PROBABILITY. Charles M. Grinstead Swarthmore College. J. Laurie Snell Dartmouth College.

    http://www.dartmouth.edu/~chance/teaching_aids/books_articles/probability_book/pdf.html

    Wishing you the best!

    Thanks.

When I needed help with statistics I went to the local college's math lab. The help was free and beneficial. There I also found an inexpensive tutor.

    I hope this helps.

You might want to check out the Standard Deviants CD or tape on Statistics. They cover probability. Look on Ebay for them.

Athabasca University (www.athabascau.ca) has a good introductory college-level statistics course. It is correspondence-based and covers all the essential concepts. You have six months to complete the course and with the exchange rate (USD to CAD) it is affordable. Books and course materials are included in the course cost.

Check out Chapter 3 of "The cartoon guide to statistics" by Larry Gonick and published by HarperPerennial.
