Hello, I am near completion of a BA in Criminal Justice (2006, B&M) and would like to pursue a master's degree in the titled disciplines. Particularly, I would like to focus on women's rights and issues with a global cultural perspective (ie. comparisons of various cultural issues). I would prefer a Canadian school for financial reasons, but I am open to all suggestions. Also, my GPA is around 3.2 or 3.3 so that may exclude me from some programs. Thanks
You might check out whether Goddard College in Plainfield, VT, still offers the MA in Feminist Studies or the MA in Sociology.
For Sociology look here: http://www.man.ac.uk/sociologyonline For Anthropology look here: http://www.lamp.ac.uk/archanth/distance.htm I'm sorry that I don't know anything about Womens/Gender Studies programs. The best advice I can offer is to check some of the Australian universities. They have some nice DL programs. Some are taught courses and some are research courses. Good luck, Jack
