Anyone used credit from Athabasca. I have just been through the course catalogues and they have a lot of courses on offer. i am really interested in the fact that you can challenge credits -i.e. you can go straight to the assessments without the need to go through the course. Its very cheap compared to doing the full course. Has anybody else done this with Excelsior or any colleges in the USA , if so how did it work.
Hi John Right now I'm in the process of challenging my first Athabasca Course. Depending on the course you still need to complete projects or other assignments and one exam. For the COMP200 class I have to complete 3 projects and take a 90 min exam. I plan on completing my CIS requirements for the Excelsior BS at Athabasca. Although I haven't finished my first course, I can say that my experience with Athabasca has been great. The cost for challenging courses is also great! Although I have not yet personally transferred my Athabasca credit to another US school, like Excelsior, I got the idea from other users on this forum. I'm sure there are some users here who have done that. Brandon
