Remember a couple of years ago when a second "American Coastline University" popped up to take customers away from the American Coastline that Hawaii said was owned by Richard Hoyer?

As I recall, the copycat American Coastline morphed into "American Central University" after a few weeks of existence. Perhaps threats were made.

That's what you're looking at here.

Also, IDETC has been around as a gee-it-looks-like-DETC thing for a year or two, I believe.

Their list of accredited institutions look rather like the "official" DETC one, with a few additions (and many missing entries.)

The only references to them from a google search are the "American Central University" mentioned above and a "Vocational University" (which seems to be an oxymoron) which isn't actually listed by IDETC.

One more thing, their "Accreditation process" seems remarkably similar to that used by "Educational Quality Accrediting Commission" (which accredits Irish International University and claims to accredit several legitimate UK universities (none of which actually acknowledge EQAC's existence).

Edit: EQAC claims to have been registed by "Bircham International University" (which they accredit)

 

Mi gosh, they have not updated their official register - Revans is still listed. Do you think I should contact them
