    Hi,

I' am looking for a school or combination of schools that will provide me with high quality education, low cost, and is/are regionally accredited. I live in Glendale, AZ. So far I have come up with Rio Salado with a transfer to Arizona State University as my best option. Does anyone else have a suggestion?

If you're looking for low cost, regionally accredited distance MBA, I think Amberton in Texas is your answer (I think it costs 6k). WWW.Amberton.edu

The only downside (that prevented me from going) is that it does not participate in federal financial aid. THey don't want students to amass debt.

I am guessing the original poster is looking at a Bachelor's degree. If so, their plan for CC then ASU seem extremely sound. Other schools that seem good choices are Troy University, U. of Mass., and so on.

    Thanks to all who replied!

Dave, Your right, I' am looking to get my Bachelor's degree but what if I want to get my MBA later on? Would going to a CC then ASU be a bad decision?

Not at all. Why would you think a degree from a well known school like Arizona State be detrimental to getting an MBA?

I don't think that getting a degree from Arizona State would be detrimental but I question the way in which I would be obtaining my MBA. The stepped approach (Rio Salado to ASU to MA program at ASU or another school) vs. just choosing one DL school and working towards my MBA. I haven't been to school since '92 and am a little "gun shy" to say the least.
