Bellevue University CJ program

Has anyone attended Bellevue or graduated from their BS in criminal justice? They state the program can be completed in 15 months online.

 

If you're looking for speed I would recommend, without hesitation, Grantham University. Grantham is DETC accredited, so in academia it may not be as highly accepted as an RA degree. However, there are several cheap accredited master's degree programs in Criminal Justice such as Ashworth College's (also DETC accredited) MCJ program which is around $5000 USD ALL INCLUSIVE. Throw in interest free monthly payments and it's an all around great deal.

Anyway, back to Grantham. Grantham offers 3 CJ concentrations: General, Homeland Security, & Computer Science. Grantham is my ol' school which is why I put forth this recommendation. Grantham operates on an open enrollment schedule, so you could enroll today and start tomorrow (in a sense). Grantham DOES NOT restrict you on your speed of progress. They do set forth a time limit of 60 days per course, however, if you could speed through a course in two days... Grantham will let you do it. You can go as fast as you want. Also, when you take the open book tests online don't expect a cake walk. The first one I ever took I received a 76. Of course, I never made that mistake again, but Grantham certainly makes you cover the material. Also, each course has 4 tests all taken online. Once you are halfway through your tests the bookstore is automatically alerted and your books are prepared and shipped to you so as soon are you are done your other class will have already arrived.

I'm attending Bellevue right now and am about half way through my BS BIS. After transferring 82 semester hours in, I will actually finish in 12 months. It's not a cakewalk, but it's definitely doable. Bellevue is a good school and they take online education very seriously.
