The Potchefstroom/GST degree programs will experience a substantial increase in tuition as of July 1, 2001. Currently the cost of the Ph.D. program is 2200 pounds sterling. As of July 1, this will increase to 4000 pounds sterling. Several posters had expressed an interest in the PU/GST programs, so to avoid the increased tuition, one would need to act before July 1.

I felt that as the association between PU and GST strengthened, and more non-UK/SA students enrolled, the tuition would increase. And indeed it has! Even at 4000 pounds sterling (approximately $6000), the PU/GST programs remain a viable option for US students.

For information on specific programs one may contact:

    Russell,
Who is glad he's already enrolled!

In the spirit of Christian good will and fairness, perhaps you should volunteer to pay the increase. [IMG]

Does this school have an URL?

And BTW: (The real reason for this post?) Can anyone tell me how to pronounce the name of this school via a message post? (That's the real trick I guess.)

Or maybe I should pay the projected tuition fee which my granddaughter will pay in 2021. This would indeed be a gesture of good will, but not very likely to happen. [IMG]

Potchefstroom [POTCH-ef-Stroom] The name of a SA city just southwest of Johannesburg, from which the university derives its name. www.puk.ac.za

GST, in the UK, is an accredited institution of Potch. This website is only a few weeks old, and is being expanded and updated. www.study-theology.com

Sounds like one of those loaves & fishes deals only with Russell's bank account. If it works Russell, let me know. I have got a couple of kid's to put through college myself.
