Writing an Australian Research Proposal

    Does anyone know of a good book, web site, etc. dedicated to the issue of how to write a really good Australian Ph.D. research proposal?

    Hi Tom,

    I was doing a search for a MS Word thesis template a few days ago and noticed that I had gotten a lot of hits for .au universities. I think that most universities post guidelines, such as this one: http://www.unsw.edu.au/clients/postgrad/guide.html . This links to a thesis on writing a thesis, which seems to be a self-referential but common practice.

    Frequently, academic departments within the university have their own guidelines. So searching on the web site of the school of interest may be the best bet. APA style seems to be prevalent there except for tech. departments.
