Greetings. With regard to your recent post: 1) LSU (http://www.is.lsu.edu/defaultsm.asp) charges by the semester credit hour for its college level Independent Study courses (currently $73 per S/H, http://www.is.lsu.edu/uifaq.asp?nid=401#19). 2) I don't see why it matters to you how the cost of a IS course is determined; personally I'm only concerned with the price, not how the price was derived. All the Independant study courses I've taken at Colorado State University - Pueblo have listed the course price. Though I suspect there just adding up the per credit charge for you (which is about $90 a credit.) http://coned.colostate-pueblo.edu/indstdy/

Hey Cincy, Welcome to Degree Info. I am within spitting distance of you. I live just across the river in Park Hills, Kentucky. Are you working on a Bachelors or a Masters Degree? I just enrolled in California Coast University http://calcoast.edu and I am pleased with their degree programs. At the time I originally enrolled, their fees was based on a total program cost. Their prices now are reasonable at $162.00 per graduate hour. Email me sometime and maybe we can have the chance to meet. It would be nice meeting you. Take care. Have a Great Day!
