Questions about credit banking and how it works?

I am thinking about using one of the credit banking services at Excelsior or Charter Oak (or any other place that offers it). The reason I am doing this is because my Thomas Edison transcript will only show the 120 credits used in my degree program. I have earned a total of 145 and some of the upper level credits that I did well in and that are relevant to my program and field were not used. After talking to an advisor, I'm thinking it had partly to do with the chronological order in which the credits/exams were received.

Anyway, my point is this: I was thinking, instead of letting those credits go to waste I was going to Credit Bank them at another school. This way if I put in my Resume' (relevant coursework.................), then my employer would have a place to verify that I actually took those courses which are not in my transcript. I know credit banking is not good for applying to other schools but I just want my unused credits on file somewhere for EMPLOYMENT purposes.

    Here's some ?'s:

Which is the best institution to do this service with?

What is the limit to how many credits can be banked?

Is a GPA indicated on the credit bank transcript?

Will any school give letter grades for the CLEPS and DSST's in a credit bank?

Can you choose which credits get banked and which don't?

Will and DETC credits or others not necessarily accepted by the school, be able to be simply listed?

I understand that Excelsior allows you to suppress grades and test results on their transcripts. You might want to ask them about it.

With that many excess hours above your TESC degree, why not consider a 2nd undergrad at Excelsior and use those other credits? :D Just a thought...

Mainly now I'm trying to compare the Excelsior and Charter Oak service. I did talk to Charter Oak (as usual the people there are always very hospitable)... Only thing they wouldn't get into too much detail about grade cut thresholds. Excelsior publishes theirs. Since they are based on National percentiles and standards I wonder if the cut scores would be the same for both school (on the DANTES).

Also how and where would I mention a credit bank on a resume'?
