    Thanks Paul,

I friend is traveling to meet with IIE for his IEng registration.

His next step is C&G Institute.

    Very informative web site.

I really like EE and EET. However the campus requirements kill me in most aspects. What really gets me is the DETC schools don't get federal aid. So you have to fund your college another way.

    Federal Aid

I know you can get Federal Aid for the Indiana State University program because I'm currently enrolled fulltime in the program with it.

I'm sure you could also get federal aid for the other regionally accredited programs like UNC or UND. They are listed on my site.

My Incorporated Engineer (IEng) registration was achieved in June, 2004. My City & Guilds Graduateship (GCGI) Award was achieved in August when they confirmed my IEng.

I thought these titles would look good on my resume. However, I don't know how an employer will view them in America.
I will find that out when I graduate from ISU.

    Paul,

Employers should view this favorably because British Qualifications (UK EC) are very respected in the world and considered among the best.
One thing I would do on resume is write next to the foreign qualification its equal / equivalence in USA.

I really like your website. What I was saying that of all those schools on your website the RA schools all seemed to required onsite or an AA degree already in place. Where as the complete distance degrees all seemed to be accredited by the DETC which does not allow for them to use federal aid ... otherwise places like grantham and CNU would have much higher enrollements.

BTW.. grantham is seeking the ability to give federal aid. It will take years they tell me.

    Transfer Credit

UNC had only a two week on campus requirement. You could rent a cheap motel and get the labs out of the way.

Exclesior and Thomas Edison allow you to transfer in the lab work from your local community college or university as long as it is regionally accredited. If you name these educational institutions you maybe able to receive federal aid.

Otherwise, the DETC program of World College maybe the cheapest route. The Cleveland Institute seemed to have good name recognition with the Aerospace Engineers I worked with. I do not know how well it would be accepted by an employer.
