    Hi:

This is a long shot but I thought I would throw it out there. I am a Union Job Steward with one of the largest unions in the United States. I have been toying with the idea of submitting info. to ACE in the hopes that they can may translate my certificate, and hours of organized labor study onto an ACE transcript. I then hope to transfer this over to COSC.

I don't know it it is even possible. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    thank, Abner

Your experience with being a union steward, should make the ECE Labor Relations exam a 'breeze' for you. I took the exam as a shop steward, just had to brush up on terms.

Visit a library that has a copy of the ACE book, and find out if your certificate has already been evaluated.

    Good luck

    Thanks!!

    J. Allen, Thanks for the great info. I didn't expect a response that quick, wow! I will track down a copy of an ACE book somewhere. What does ECE stand for, is it an Excelsior exam? Please advise, I am very interested.

    Thanks once again brother Allen,

    Abner :)

    ECE

Yes, I meant Excelsior, though when I took the exam it was ACT-PEP, paper-based, and they actually gave a number grade for it.

You may also want to check on your National Union's website, to see if they already have educational information posted. Trust me, do as much 'footwork' as you can via internet & phone.
