Degree Program Transcripts

A student graduates from a masters degree program from a school and then remains in for a doctoral program.

My questions are:

Are they two seperate programs reflected in the transcripts?

Would the new program hurt the GPA earned in the masters program?

If a student does not fair well in the doctoral program and does not finish will that be on the same transcript as the masters degree program?

Thank you for any advice.

 

From my personal experience (see signature), the PhD program is on a separate transcript and does not affect the masters at all. Once your masters is complete, that transcript is closed. At least, that's how mine is.
