I am thinking of enrolling to Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU) - MSc Administrative Studies. Any opinions/experience? Great thanks, Prospective PG student
As a non-business guy, I'd be interested in knowing how this degree might be different or preferred to an MBA. Just asking. Jack
The question above Dear Jack, This is more or less addressed at the SMSU web-site: http://www.smsu.edu/msas/faq.htm ... and I would appreciate if anyone shares a real-life experiece as well for I am very much interested in this program. Best regards, YSM
SMSU I don't know anything about the MSAS program at SMSU, however I did complete the MS CIS program there as a distance learning program. The experience was far more personally and professionally rewarding than I ever could have imagined. SMSU has a great CIS program, quality instructors and a great mix of students with diverse professional backgrounds. I don't know that this will provide any insights into your MSAS considerations, however I do with you the best in your education decision.
SMSU Trademarking "MSU" According to an AP article released 01/31/05 Southwest Missouri State University has filed federal trademark applications for rights to the name "Missouri State University." This move is reportedly being made in anticipation of receiving approval from the Missouri legislature and governor to formally change the university's name to reflect their statewide mission and position as 2nd largest educational institution in the state. Perhaps this will translate into expanded DL offerings in addition to the unique MSAS degree presently offered completely online.
