In looking through COSC degree requirements, I see that one of the general education requirements is
Would a course like this one meet that requirement?

Another along these lines to consider would be this English course from BYU.

Trying to find one to fit for my wife's plans. Any suggestions are appreciated.

It looks like it would meet the requirement; but if you have access to CLEP, DSST, Excelsior, or AP exams, there are a bunch of exams that also meet the area H requirement.

Would be nice, but not really easy to access from Estonia...

Possible, I suppose, but not easy. Plus I think my wife prefers to take the courses.

thanks for the other suggestions. It just seemed different than other History requirements, as it wanted the history of some subject and I took it to mean something like Art History or whatever.

    I appreciate your help.

My gut feeling - since PHILOSOPHY covers the C (Ethical Dimensions and Citizenship) and W (Western Civilization and Culture) according to the COSC website, I would not count on the History of Modern Philosophy class counting as a "History"
