    Hello Everyone:
I have really enjoyed reading the information that you have posted on the discussion boards.

I am preparing to enroll at NCU for the phD in Business and was wondering about the idea of starting a semi-support group consisting of other phD learners at the institution. I guess, first of all I would like to find out if anyone would be interested OR maybe one already exists. Let me know what you think.

    Welcome,

I simply wanted to congratulate you on a MBA thru Letourneau. Is this the LeTourneau in Longview, TX? Is this where you currently reside.
LeTourneau is a great school from what I understand and especially in engineering..

Sorry for not responding based on your question of NCU. Just wanted to acknowledge your LeTourneau degree. Impressive!!

A support group already exists. When you enroll at NCU, and have access tot he learners site, you will see a discussion forum on the right hand side. There is a folder for support groups, and each school has one, as well as a dissertation support center, which is (believe me) very helpful.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Hello BinkWile, I noticed in your signature that you earned a Master of Public Administration from a state school and now you've entered the NCU Ph.D. program. I'm also hold a MPA from a state school and I'm considering the NCU program.

Which degree are you pursuing? If it is the Ph.D. Business Admin, what is your concentration? How have you found the program? Are there any concerns? How do you typically submit course material? How responsive have you found your professors?

And if you don't mind the onslaught of questions :) , what is your goal for the Ph.D.? Are you planning on teaching? If so, have you explored the likelihood of securing a teaching position with a NCU Ph.D.?

Again, I appreciate your time. I'm trying to decide on this. I plan to utilize the degree largely for consulting, but I am very much interesting in teaching part-time as well.

    Thanks.
