I just consulted Google, and found nothing. There are several ICSAA's (a stochastic analysis conference in Tunisia, an international study of alcoholics, an African-American organization in Iowa). But nothing resembling a university accreditor. How did you hear of this group?
This is the increasingly popular "non contributory" system, wherein a school with no other form of recognized accreditation inserts its name in a list of legitimately accredited schools. The material here bears a striking resemblance to AOAEx, Trinity C&U's bogus accrediting agency. The domain seems to have a generic registration, and was just accomplished on June 16th, with a U.K. address. It's a safe bet that somewhere in that list is a "school" of very dubious quality. http://www.icsaa.org ------------------ Bill Gossett
Bill Gossett suggests, "It's a safe bet that somewhere in that list is a "school" of very dubious quality." That would be Pennington University (www.penningtonu.com), the pride of Panama City, and a place to buy, among much else, an "honary" (sic) doctorate.
I'll say. The ICSAA text seems to simply be an edited version of identical text from the AOAEx site. In Wales? Dr. Bear's watchful eye has already uncovered it. Pennington. The list of "accredited" schools seems to be essentially identical on both sites. Trinity College and University is tucked neatly into the AOAEx list, but seems to be absent from the ICSAA listing. I guess that this is pretty strong evidence that the Trinity College and University syndicate is running Pennington as well. I do have to say that I'm crushed that my San Francisco State is omitted from both lists. Not suitable to be listed with Trinity C&U or Pennington, I guess... Jeez... http://www.icsaa.org http://www.aoaex.org/
Why even bother with organizations such as Pennington, when you can use these: http://www.closedcollege.com/ http://fakediplomas.com/ http://WWW.BLACKMARKET-PRESS.COM/ The latter says their degrees and transcripts are only "to boost your self esteem." But fakedegrees.com explicitly say that theirs can be used to "impress the opposite sex." Sign me up!
No, the domain was registered by gnxonline, a domain registrar and web hosting company, using their London address. ------------------ Bill Gossett
