Excelsior Business Degree & Certs

I just enrolled with Excelsior for the B.S. in Business with a concentration in MIS. I know they accept vendor certifications such as Microsoft & Cisco for their technology degrees, but I cannot find any information on whether they will give credit for vendor certs in regards to their business degree with the MIS specialization. Does anyone know if they do?

I will. When they are open. I was just interested to know if they did as I could get started on ordering transcripts tonight while I am at work.

Credits for certs

From the main screen, look on the bottom of the screen, you will see "Excelsior College Publication Request"

From that screen, the second document "A student guide to credit by exam". I got a bunch of credits for my MCSE, MCSD and MCDBA

You are correct. I called Excelsior and spoke to an advisor and they said that the IT certs listed in the CIS catalog will count towards electives in a business degree. Some will also count towards required courses. I wish they would spell that out in the business catalog...
