National Accreditation and Acceptance at RA Schools

    On another thread there was a question about this issue (don't want to hunt for thread).

    There are more schools now willing to consider it. Someone mentioned and maligned ORU but it is a second tier school (not too bad at all). Liberty U will accept NA and I believe that University of Oklahoma would specifically with TRACS.

    Also, as was mentioned a number of gov't organizations accept NA as meeting accredited degree requirements for jobs. Our organization does.

    In any case, you always need to do homework. For example, running out and getting an RA PhD in Psychology sounds reasonable.....except that the utility is far more limited than an RA PhD with APA accreditation. Always research.
