Feedback on Aston PhD/DBA?

I've done a search of this forum, and I haven't seen any specific discussion of the Aston PhD/DBA programs by distance format. They've been mentioned in the context of other discussions as something an original poster should look into, but without much further detail. I'm looking seriously at applying for this program for a distance PhD or DBA in management science.

Does anyone on this board have any direct experience (personal or colleague) about the Aston doctorate business programs? I'd love to hear some feedback.

First, there has been lots of discussion and threads, but the search function on this site is not working properly. If you go to google, and go to advanced search, you can put in degreeinfo as the search page, and put in Aston - you should see lots of threads.

I looked over their program during my search. Unfortunately they took several months to get in touch with, so I went with another program purely due to my time table.
