    Hello all

I have looking for an online doctorate program for a while now.
I am a working professional and dont really want to leave my job to join the B&M university for a PhD.
There are online options too but looking at different posts here and some other places too it seems that programs offered by Universities that dont have their own campuses are not taken as seriously as the programs offered by universities having campus based education along with the DL.

So... i have few questions now.

    1) Which B&M universities offer DL Doctoral programs?

    2) I have seen some universities which offer DCS (Doctorate in Compter Science) or a DSc. (Doctor of Science in Computer Science) instead of a PhD. and the reason is that their programs are not actually research programs and they are more of the applied programs. How will you compare the value of applied program to the search based program (PhD) when you go to some university for a faculty position?

    3) Is there any one here from Colorado Technical University?
They have started a program called DCS (Doctorate in Computer Science). It is a 3 year Applied doctoral program. What do you think about this program?
Below is the link of this Doctoral program.

    I'll really appreciate the replies

    Thanks

The University of Phoenix (UOP) has B&M campuses around the country including one in Phoenix, AZ, and one in Torrance, CA.

Nova also uses the UOP Torrance campus to teach their DBA program.

In the UK,the University of Middlesex has a B&M campus.
